Hall effect is a sensing technology which consists of a thin hall element constructed from a thin sheet of conductive material with output connection perpendicular to direction of current flow. When applied to a magnetic field, it reacts with an output voltage proportional to magnetic field strength. As the voltage strength is very small it requires amplifiers to attain required level. When hall element is integrated with associated electronics for specific purpose it is called hall effect sensor.
